Looking for free illustrator designing software? Adobe Illustrator is widely used in vector and illustrations, but there are free alternatives that are quite good.
This list is an excellent alternative to adobe illustrator. Equally valuable for professionals and beginners who can afford adobe subscriptons.
Gravit Designer
Free to use but require you to sign in to start using it. It comes with a free and pro version and available in web drawing as well as software.
For whatever the version you get, all need you to have an internet connection.
Pro account will get you some extra advantages:
- Never run out of Cloud space again.
- Professional PDF export at 300 dpi.
- EPS, Sketch, and Illustrator import PNG, JPG, PDF and SVG import.
Krita
Another good software for graphic design. It is a free and open-source raster graphics editor. Mostly known for digital painting and 2D animation. It may not be a good choice for vector art for some reasons but it does support vector art.
Krita illustrator may require you to get some lessons because it is a little different from adode illustrator.
It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and Chrome OS.
Inkscape
Free and open-source software for vector graphics editing. Offers a rich set of features for professional and beginners. Widely used for artistic, illustrations, logos, typography, clip arts, cartoons, diagrams and more.
It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Support various file formats to import and export, including SVG, AI, EPS, PDF, PS and PNG.
